Mrs. Claus Beautiful Plaid Skirt and Cape Red, Green, black and white plaid Flannel to wear for a Dickens Christmas Event.
This drawstring waist skirt is handmade in a plaid cotton flannel fabric drapes beautiful Medium weight! The drawstring waist is adjustable to fit Plus Ladies Sizes waist measurement 30"- 72". It's made with fabric that measures 120" circumference around the waist and bottom edge.
Hem length 36" - 43" length from waist to hem, it has a half-inch rolled hem.

HEM LENGTH you will want to measure from your natural waist to the floor with the shoes on that you will be wearing with your skirt if you are going to be wearing a hoop slip you may want to add 1-2 inches to allow for the puffiness of the hoop. I custom hem to your request.

Comes with or without braid if you want the braid trim make sure to order the Plus outfit w/braid.

The drawstring is 3/16" ribbon, 90" long. The last picture shows the skirt alone with the drawstring visible. (This type of waist has a casing for the drawstring instead of a waistband, so it looks best to wear a belt, sash or bodice over the gathering.

Cape- is a 36" circle red, black, green, white Christmas plaid flannel on one side and black solid cotton blend on other side.
When measuring for the cape you will want to measure from your elbow up your arm across your shoulder down the other arm to the elbow.

Sash - is green cotton blend 120" x 6" fits waist measurement 28" - 38""

Note: Skirt is pictured over a three-hoop crinoline slip that is not included in the listing; skirt can be worn either with a hoop slip or without, but looks best with a crinoline slip or petticoat under it.

I personally make all my clothing items, one at a time, in my smoke-free/pet-free home. All seams are finished, no raw edges, and the seams are period correct, using French seams and rolled hems.
