Beautiful Skirt for Civil War Reenacting or Dickens Christmas Event or Christmas Caroler, Little Women costume.
This drawstring waist skirt is handmade in a Royal Blue, black, yellow and white plaid homespun cotton blend fabric drapes beautifully! The drawstring waist is adjustable to fit Ladies Sizes Small to XX-Large. It's made with Homespun cotton blend fabric and measure 120" circumference around the waist and bottom edge, 34"- 50" length from waist to hem, has a half-inch rolled hem, and you can shorten to any length needed. As you see there is also a solid royal blue skirt in the pictures, if you purchased it with your all plaid outfit and the black sash you would have several different combinations you could wear.

Cape is a 36" circle and reversible with black cotton/blend on the back side.
There is a drop down selections menu with these choices:

• 120" long skirt only
• 120" long skirt and sash only
• 120" Skirt/sash/cape no braid trim
• 120" skirt/sash/cape with braid trim

HEM LENGTH you will want to measure from your natural waist to the floor with the shoes on that you will be wearing with your skirt if you are going to be wearing a hoop slip you may want to add 1-2 inches to allow for the puffiness of the hoop. I custom hem to your request.

The drawstring cord is 3/8" ribbon , 90" long. The last picture shows the skirt alone with the drawstring visible. (This type of waist has a casing for the drawstring instead of a waistband, so it looks best to wear a belt, sash or bodice over the gathering.

The blouses, hat, purse or any accessories can be purchased in my store if you are interested.

Note: Skirt is pictured over a four bone hoop crinoline slip that is not included in the listing; skirt can be worn either with a hoop slip or without, but looks best with a hoop or crinoline slip or petticoat under it.

I personally make all my clothing items, one at a time, in my smoke-free/pet-free home. All seams are finished, no raw edges, and the seams are period correct, using French seams and rolled hems.
