A Beautiful Skirt and Sash or Skirt, sash and Cape to wear for Civil War Reenacting a Dickens Christmas Event.
This drawstring waist skirt is handmade in a black, Golden tan and white plaid homespun cotton fabric drapes beautifully medium to heavy weight! The drawstring waist is adjustable to fit Ladies Sizes Small to XX-Large 18"- 72". It's made with fabric and measure 108" circumference around the waist and bottom edge. Hem length 34"-45" length from waist to hem, has a half-inch rolled hem, and you can shorten to length as needed. I custom hem to your request.

Cape is a 36" circle with matching plaid and black cotton blend lining.

I can also make these in children's sizes or Women's Plus sizes but there is a up charge for Plus sizes please contact me with any questions.

HEM LENGTH you will want to measure from your natural waist to the floor with the shoes on that you will be wearing with your skirt if you are going to be wearing a hoop slip you may want to add 1-2 inches to allow for the puffiness of the hoop.

The drawstring cord is 3/8" ribbon , 90" long. The last picture shows the skirt alone with the drawstring visible. (This type of waist has a casing for the drawstring instead of a waistband, so it looks best to wear a belt, sash or bodice over the gathering.

Note: Skirt is pictured over a four bone hoop crinoline slip that is not included in the listing; skirt can be worn either with a hoop slip or without, but looks best with a hoop or crinoline slip or petticoat under it.

I personally make all my clothing items, one at a time, in my smoke-free/pet-free home. All seams are finished, no raw edges, and the seams are period correct, using French seams and rolled hems.
